1.1 We may collect following information about you and your use of our Website, mobile applications, platform and service (together, our "App") in order to create an accurate and personalized experience for our users:
1.2 In order to get the most out of our service and to allow us to provide you with relevant activities, we might store some data realted to your geographic loction from time to time. The types of location data that will be processed are your timezone settings, cell tower ID, etc. However, we do not store any information about your exact geographic location like latitude/longitude or any GPS information.
1.3 Our App, website or third party partners might use cookies to store certain information. 2.1 We use the information we collect about you (including your Personally Identifiable Information) to create a better, more personalized experience for you based on your individual usage habits, improve our marketing and promotional efforts, analyse site usage, improve our content and product offerings, and customize our App content, layout and Services. These uses improve our site and allow us to better customize it to meet your needs. We also use the information we collect about you to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, and enforce our Terms of Use Agreement.
2.2 We may compile the information we collect about you and use it, in an aggregate form only, in the negotiation and establishment of service agreements with public and/or private enterprises under which such enterprises will serve as Stitchy partners.
2.3 We may use for promotional, sales or any use that we consider appropriate your correspondence with us or photographs submitted for publication on our App, be it via email, postings on our website, or via our mobile application. Our use of such materials is consistent with the restrictions on disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information set forth in Section 6.
3.1 We are using a third party mobile backend service provider Parse.com by Facebook Inc ("Parse") for our App data storage and data processing (http://www.parse.com). You must be aware that any information you submit via our App could be sent to and stored and processed on secure servers provided by Parse which may be situated outside the European Economic Area and may be processed by staff operating outside the European Economic Area. We do not have any control on how and where the data is being stored or processed by Parse servers. By using the App, you are implicitly giving your consent for any collected information about you to be sent, stored and processed on Parse servers and recognise that we have to fully comply with their terms and policies.
3.2 Some of your information and data you submit or publish on the App are clearly intended to be available and accessible publicly by all the end users of the App. These include your name, profile picture, your activities, the date, any audio visual content or data you publish as well as all your posts and comments in the App. You should exercise caution when publishing any content publicly on the App and never disclose any personal information that you do not wish to be published or revealed in public. Submission of any private information and data in intended public areas of the App is done fully at your own risk.
3.3 Internet security is a complex issue and no system can be considered 100% secure. We place great importance on the security of all personally identifiable information associated with our users. We have security measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information under our control. Whilst we cannot ensure or guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of information will never occur, we use all reasonable efforts to prevent it. You should also bear in mind that submission of information over the internet is never entirely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of information you submit via the App whilst it is in transit over the internet and any such submission is at your own risk.
4.1 The App may, from time to time, contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or the content of such applications or sites.
5.1 Opt-in requirement: WITHOUT YOUR AFFIRMATIVE CONSENT (ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS), WE DO NOT SELL, RENT OR OTHERWISE SHARE YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION WITH OTHER THIRD PARTIES, UNLESS OTHERWISE REQUIRED AS DESCRIBED BELOW UNDER "REQUIRED DISCLOSURES". TO THE EXTENT WE SHARE INFORMATION WITH OUR PARTNERS AND ADVERTISERS, WE SHARE ONLY AGGREGATED OR OTHERWISE NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION THAT IS NOT LINKED TO YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION. Aggregated information that we may share with our marketing partners includes, but is not limited to, information showing the relative popularity of one content over another, or the popularity of certain topics.
5.2 You should understand that information you provide through the registration process or post to the public areas of our App, or through the use of our services (including your name (if provided) and profile picture) may be accessible by and made public through syndication programs and by search engines, metasearch tools, crawlers, metacrawlers and other similar programs.
5.3 Required disclosures: Though we make every effort to preserve member privacy, we may need to disclose your Personally Identifiable Information when required by law or if we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to:
6.1 When you agree to log in via your social networking account, the required personal information about you is retrieved and stored on our servers, accuracy of which depends on your social networking profile. There is no guarantee that our App will be able to accurately detect any updates or changes made to your profile information automatically on regular basis. If you think that we hold any inaccurate or misleading information about you, we can be contacted directly so that your information can be updated accordingly.
6.2 Upon your request, we will deactivate your account and remove your Personally Identifiable Information from our active databases. To make this request, you need to contact us directly using the information given at the end of this policy. Upon our receipt of your request, we will deactivate your account and remove your Personally Identifiable Information as soon as reasonably possible in accordance with our deactivation policy and applicable law. Nonetheless, we will retain in our files information you may have requested us to remove if, in our discretion, retention of the information is necessary to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems or to enforce the Terms of Use Agreement. Furthermore, your information is never completely removed from our databases due to technical and legal constraints (for example, we will not remove your information from our back up storage). We also cannot guarantee that your data will be fully removed from the servers managed by third parties, partners or service providers (e.g Parse)
7.1 You have a legal right under the Data Protection Act 1998 to a copy of all the personal information about you held by us. On request, we will provide you with a copy of this information subject to a fee not exceeding £10. You also have a right to prevent the use of your personal information for direct marketing purposes.
7.2 You have a right to correct any errors in your personal information we hold about you as mentioned in section 6 above.
7.3 You are under no obligation to provide any of the information we may request. However, if you should choose to withhold requested information, we may not be able to provide you with certain services on our App.

9.1 If we decide to change this Policy, we will post those changes on http://www.stitchyapp.com/privacy or post a notice of the changes to this Policy on the homepage (www.stitchyapp.com) and other places we deem appropriate, so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the Privacy Policy statement under which the information was collected.
9.2 If we make any material changes in our privacy practices, we will post a prominent notice on our website notifying you and our other members of the change. In some cases where we post a notice we will also email you and other members who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices. However, if you have deleted/deactivated your account, then you will not be contacted, nor will your previously collected personal information be used in this new manner.
9.3 Any changes to this Policy (i.e., if it does not change how we treat your Personally Identifiable Information) will become effective after we provide you with at least thirty (30) days notice of the changes and provide notice of the changes as described above.
